Firstly, welcome to Singapore! We're so glad you are finally here! Your two cousins were so excited they couldn't keep still on the journey to the airport, although Kak Lisha was sleeping all the way! But I'm sure she must have been dreaming about not keeping still! The whole bunch of us waited for your arrival with bated breath. Your grandad and grandma came way early... So did your Nyai Bik As and Tok Kahar with their 2 daughters and future SIL. Your uncle and Aunty Yati were there too. So was your 2nd cousin Shakedekil (I like to call him that!) and his parents. And we brought along Nyai Piah. And of course the 4 of us were there... Your flight was scheduled to land at 2015hrs at Terminal 1 but it was changed to 2038hrs. So the four of us had a bit of Delifrance for dinner. Then we waited and waited and waited and when you finally came into view near belt 16 at about 2120hrs the makciks and aunties squealled with delight at your bobbing head as you hang around your mama's waist! I had the video-camera zoomed in all the way to capture the first moments you came into view! We were delighted at your ever smiling face and when your mama and papa finally collected their 60kg worth of luggage off the belt and exited the gate, you were the one that grabbed everyone's attention!!! The people around there must have thought that some VIP had just arrived! You were fussed over and passed around... I noticed that your poor papa had to take a backseat for a while! We gathered for a huge photo op before trooping into the 3 cars that brought you to your new home. Once at home, you were once again fussed over and your two cousins coo-ed and fussed over you. Your atuk 'cilub-bah' you over and over again and you were laughing away! Aunty Mars told me to take pictures of your feet and I did! And when it was past midnight and you were still wide awake, I carried you in my arms and put you to sleep!! Sweet...
