In exactly 2 weeks, 195 cadets will be commissioned as fully fledged officers...In exactly 2 weeks, 195 young second lieutenants will leave the hallowed grounds of the Home of the Officer Corp and take their place among many who have come before them...Thousands of lives will be affected by these eager, enthuasistic, energetic young officers...They will pledge to lead their men well, they will pledge to excel in everything they do and they will pledge to overcome any challenges that may come their way...And I am proud to have contributed in some ways towards training them...
