What a day...

Weekends are never a time to 'relax'...here's what we did today...

0920hrs: We left home to fetch the girls from mum's. As usual, they slept there overnight, a weekly ritual that we are eternally grateful to Mak & Abah...for it freed us to do things as a couple that we used to...

1005hrs: We reached Cecil House in Shenton Way. Another weekly ritual. Mars accompanied Shahira for her music class while I took Alisha to McDonald's in Kallang and had an uneventful breakfast with her...Just a little bonding between dad & daughter...

1110hrs: We fetched Mars & Shahira from Cecil House and proceeded to Centrepoint. Robinson's was having their sale and Cik Esah wanted us to pick up something she had ordered the night before. I took the opportunity to get myself a new pair of 'business' shoes...a nice shiny Pierre Cardin! Had to park all the way to the top instead of my usual basement spot as there was some renovation being carried out at the carpark.

1430hrs: Finally left Centrepoint with a slight dent in my pocket!

1500hrs: Reached mum's for lunch...

1550hrs: Left the girls at mum's and went for inline skates class...

1605hrs: Yep...inline skates @ Singapre Inline Skate in Queen's Close beside St Margaret's Secondary School! 4 lessons for $60 per person. Hooked up with them when they came to the OCS Anniversary Bazaar yesterday. Had been wanting to pick up skating all the while. Managed to persuade Mars to also give it a try...Thanx dear! I admire your courage and conviction...

1730hrs: Left the place and went to the SAF Chalet in Changi for one of my instructors BBQ. Hung around there for a while and left at about 1825hrs.

1900hrs: Fetched Shahira from mum's. Left Alisha there as the three of us a watching 'Cars' at Lot 1! Had booked for a 1915hrs show but by the time we reached there, it was already 1940hrs...of course I had my usual nachos! I highly recommed the movie to children of ALL ages!

2130hrs: Left Lot 1 and went to Greenridge shopping centre to get chicken rice from Banquet but it was already closed! So we went to McDonald's at Bukit Panjang Plaza and 'tapau-ed' fish burger for Shahira...

2145hrs: We finally reached home after a long day out...Mum sent Alisha later as they had gone to Bik As' house...
